Language settings

Choose Korean or English for your account, help, editor, and phone apps without changing your documents.

ESTnote supports 한국어 and English. Each person chooses their own interface language, including when collaborating in the same Space.

Before signing in

Choose a language on the sign-in screen. An explicit choice takes precedence over your browser's language. If neither is available in ESTnote, Korean is used. Your existing account language takes precedence after sign-in; a new account starts with the language selected for that sign-in.

Change your account language

  1. Open Account settings using the gear beside your name at the bottom of the sidebar.
  2. Under Language, choose 한국어 or English.
  3. Keep working. Signing out or reopening your page is unnecessary.

Navigation, menus, tooltips, editor controls, and help follow this setting. Switching language preserves your current page and unsent inputs. It does not translate page titles, document content, comments, database properties, options, filenames, or your existing templates.

New starter pages and built-in template copies use the language selected when created. They become editable content and remain in that language after you switch the interface.

Android and iOS apps

The Android and iOS apps are in open beta: install the Android app through the Google Play open test and the iPhone and iPad app through TestFlight (see Installing the mobile app).

Choose a language before signing in, or use the language control in Settings after signing in. The same account preference is used by the native screens and the embedded editor. A language choice made offline stays with that account and is saved after reconnecting; it is not applied to another account if you switch users.

Notifications and shared integrations

New structured inbox notifications follow your current language. Older notifications retain their original text. Email and push notifications use the recipient's language at the time they are queued; changing language does not resend them.

Public Google Chat messages use the posting language for that Chat connection. It can differ from your interface language. Existing Chat posts retain their original language; a new setting applies to future posts. Command names such as /estnote-connect stay the same.

The interface language does not change your time zone, due dates, currency, numbers stored in databases, API identifiers, or import/export formats.
