Inbox and notifications
Mentions, comments, assignments, automations, invitations and shares gather in the Inbox. Archive what you have read and choose which notifications you get.
The Inbox
Press Inbox (받은함) in the sidebar to open the list of notifications. The number of unread ones shows on the menu and on Home. Clicking a notification opens the page or screen it is about and marks it read.
| Notification | When |
|---|---|
| Mentions | Someone called you with @ in a body or a comment |
| Comments | A comment on your page, a reply to your comment, or a comment on a page you follow |
| Assignments | A database entry's person property named you |
| Automations | An automation rule or a button sent you a notification |
| Invitations and sharing | A Space invitation, being added to a teamspace or receiving a join request, or a page shared with you |
Read and archived
- Each notification can be switched with Mark as read or Mark as unread. Mark all read at the top marks everything read at once.
- Archive a notification you are done with to clear it from the Inbox. Archive read notifications archives every read one at once.
- Archived notifications are kept under Archive (보관함); Return to inbox brings one back.
- A notification about a page you can no longer open says so.
Notification settings
Notification settings (알림 설정) at the top of the Inbox, or Notifications in account settings, turns each kind of notification on or off under Notifications to receive (받을 알림). A kind that is off is not created while it is off, and turning it back on does not recreate what was missed. On a server with mail set up, shares and invitations go out by mail as well.
Following a page
Turn on Follow (팔로우) at the top of a page to be notified of every comment on it. Pages you made or commented on need no follow for replies to your own comments to arrive.
Phone apps
Signed in to the Android or iOS app, you get the same notifications on your phone. The app's settings turn them off. A browser or the installed web app gets no phone push notifications. The native apps are in open beta; install them through the Google Play open test and TestFlight (see Installing the mobile app).
