Help › Managing a Space

Space settings

Where a Space's name and icon, members and roles, agent connections, and archiving, transfer and deletion are handled.

Press the Space name at the top of the sidebar and choose Space settings (Space 설정). The tabs are General, Members, Agents and Import and export. Which tabs you see depends on your role.

General

  • The Name appears in the sidebar and in invitation emails. The Icon is an emoji; without one, the name's first letter is used. Only owners and administrators change them.
  • Renaming the Space renames the default teamspace too, unless it was given its own name in the teamspace settings.
  • See My role and the Space's Status (Active or Archived).
  • Sites for anyone (외부 공개 사이트): with Allow sites for anyone (외부 공개 허용) on, a page of this Space can be published as a site that people outside read through its link without signing in. It is off by default, and only owners and admins change it. Turned off, sites published that way open to group accounts only at once.

The Danger zone at the bottom gathers actions that are hard to undo. Each asks for confirmation once more.

ActionWhoWhat it does
Leave SpaceMembers other than the ownerYou lose access to this Space's pages and need an invitation to come back. Pages you own, private ones included, pass to the Space owner.
Archive SpaceOwnerNew work stops and the Space becomes read-only. Unarchive Space brings it back at any time.
Transfer all contentOwnerMoves everything to another Space you own, keeping page IDs, bodies, comments, attachments and history. Direct permissions of people who are not in the target Space are removed, and private pages stay with their current owner.
Delete empty SpaceOwnerCannot be undone. Not possible while any page, trashed page or template remains; it tells you what is left.

Members

This tab is shown to owners and administrators only.

  • Invite: enter emails, pick a role and press Invite. Separate several with commas; pasted "Name " works too. You can choose the Invitation language. The invitee accepts or declines on Home; a decline tells whoever sent it.
  • Space invitations work only for emails in your organization's domain. Share documents with partners through page sharing.
  • Changing a role: pick Administrator, Member or Guest from the list beside a member.
  • Transfer ownership: the owner hands the Space to another member. Each Space has one owner.
  • Removing a member: the button beside a member labelled Export (내보내기) removes them from the Space. Pages they own, private ones included, pass to the Space owner.
  • Under Pending invitation, Cancel invitation withdraws one not yet accepted. A declined invitation leaves this list, and the address can be invited again.
RoleCan
OwnerEverything, including archiving, transfer, deletion and handing over ownership
AdministratorInvite and remove members, change the name and icon, manage every teamspace, and manage every page in the teamspaces they have joined
MemberMake pages, join teamspaces, share
GuestSees only pages shared with them. Does not join teamspaces and has no Import and export tab.

Agents

This is where agent apps such as Claude are allowed to read and write this Space's pages. Owners and administrators turn on Allow agent connection (MCP) and Allow agents to write; any member connects their own account. The steps are in MCP integration.

Import and export

Import content brings Notion and Confluence exports, Markdown, CSV and ESTnote structure-preserving files into this Space, and Export entire Space downloads every page you can see as one file. See Import and export.
