Search

Titles, property values, bodies, comments and attachment names in one search. Ctrl/Cmd+K opens it from anywhere.

Quick find

Press Search (검색) in the sidebar or Ctrl/Cmd+K to open Quick find (빠른 찾기). With text selected the same key inserts a link, so clear the selection first. It does not open while another window such as Space settings or the template gallery is open; close that window first.

  • Type and a few matching pages appear at once. Pick one with ↑↓ and open it with Enter; Esc closes the box.
  • With the box empty, recently visited pages are listed.
  • For more results or to narrow by conditions, press Shift+Enter or the Search with filters button at the bottom. The full search screen opens.

What it finds

  • Page titles and the property values of database entries (text and URLs, options, people's names, and places' names and addresses)
  • Text in page bodies
  • Text in comments
  • Attachment file names

Each result shows an excerpt of what matched; click it to open the page. Only pages you can see are listed.

Text in a body is searchable a few seconds after it is edited (within 30 seconds, even while editing goes on without a pause). Until then the page is found by its text from before the edit. Titles and comments are found at once.

A query of one character is looked for in titles and property values only. Bodies, comments and attachments are searched from two characters.

With two characters it depends on the characters:

  • Two holding Korean (회의, 1월) are found inside words too: 회의 finds 회의를.
  • Two Latin letters or digits (AI, QA, v2) are found only as a word of their own: AI finds "AI를" and "(AI)", not "train".
  • Any other two (symbols, Chinese characters) are looked for in titles and property values only.

Three characters or more are found in all text, inside words too.

Narrowing on the full search screen

The full search screen's filters narrow by kind (document, database, entry), author and period (last 7 days, 30 days or year). A query with spaces is found as that phrase. When there are many results only the first ones are shown; Show more results continues.
